Living In Fervent Expectation

L.I.F.E. Church encourages all to believe God at His word and
fervently expect it to accomplish everything His word proclaims. Our goal
is making disciples of all peoples, revealing the Love of the Father, the Grace of Jesus, and the Power of the Holy Spirit.

Vision

• L.I.F.E. Church is a place where God is worshipped in Spirit and in Truth. (John 4:24) In truth, as the full counsel of God is taught to make disciples of all nations and teach them all that Jesus has commanded (Acts 1:8, Acts 20:27, Matthew 28:19-20). In Spirit, by acknowledging Holy Spirit as the president of every gathering, essential in the life every believer, the One who guides in truth, and empowers us to accomplish the Father’s will in all things (John 16:13, Acts 1:8).

• L.I.F.E Church teaches that all believers are anointed to bring transformation by the power of the blood of Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit into the lives of all people.

• Is 61:1 — The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

• L.I.F.E. Church encourages all to believe God at His word and fervently expect it to accomplish everything His word proclaims. This is:

Statement of Faith

Non-negotiable elements of our faith:

• We believe the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (John 17:17; II Tim. 3:16; II Pet. 1:19-21)
• We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:16-17; John 15:26; Gal. 4:4-6; Col. 2:9)
• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His bodily future return to this earth in power and glory. (Isa. 7:14; Luke 1:26-27; Heb. 9:26, 28; Acts 1:3, 9- 11)
• We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12; I Pet. 1:18- 19)
• We believe regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation. (John 3:3-7; Tit. 3:5; I Pet. 1:23)
• We believe in water baptism through immersion for every believer as an outward sign and public confession of one’s inward faith and as a point of identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ that helps one to put off the old man and walk in newness of life. (Matt. 28:19; Mk. 16:16; Acts 8:38; Rom. 6:4)
• We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body for all believers, and it is obtained through faith. (Isa. 53:45; Matt. 8:17; I Pet. 2:24)
• We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, 10:44-46, and 19:2-6, is available to believers who ask for it.
• We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (II Thess. 2:13; Heb. 10:14; I Pet. 1:2)

Meet Our Leadership

Scott Silverberg

Founder of L.I.F.E. Church, Scott Silverberg, M.D. was retired by the Lord from 28 years of practicing anesthesia in August 2022. He then completed his biblical studies in the School of Ministry at Charis Bible College in Woodland Park, Colorado. It was at this time that he heard the Lord’s instruction to return to Southampton, NY to plant L.I.F.E. Church.
