Romans 5: Glory in Tribulations

Sep 27, 2026  •  Scott Silverberg

What does it mean to glory in tribulations? Romans 5 teaches us that difficult times are not something we have to seek or celebrate, but they are opportunities to trust God and grow in perseverance, character, and hope.

This message explores what it means to be justified by faith, have peace with God through Jesus Christ, access God’s grace by faith, and stand on His promises when life gets difficult. Instead of running away from God when we face trials, we are encouraged to run toward Him and trust Him for wisdom, direction, and strength.

Tribulation produces perseverance. Perseverance produces character. Character produces hope. And hope gives us the confidence to keep standing in faith because we know God is faithful.
